C. Fred Dickason C. Fred Dickason (Th.D., Dallas Theological Seminary; B.S., Iowa State College) served on the faculty of the Moody Bible Institute for thirty-four years. He was professor and chairman of the theology department until his retirement in 1995. An author and lecturer on angelology and the spirit world, he counsels many who have been involved in the occult. Dr. Dickason is the author of Demon Possession and the Christian and Angels: Elect and Evil.
C. Fred Dickason - What is the Spirit World? - 1974 The spirit world consists of a personal, invisible, living God as well as good and bad angels. The bad spirits beings fell into sin and now follow Satan. We need an accurate understanding of the good as well as evil spirits in order to have spiritual success.
C. Fred Dickason - The Powers of the Spirit World 1974 Shows that man can be affected by seemingly harmless things like horoscopes and occult healers. These things, however, can lead to demon possession. Effects of this occult oppression include; spiritual hindrance, spiritual resistance as well as mental and emotional oppression. We need to stay clear of these activities.
C. Fred Dickason - Man's Power Over The Spirit World - 1974 A person who tries to control the spirit world can quite often be overtaken by the spirit world. It is important to know the practices and power of Satan. We must know our position in Christ and resist the devil by standing in the righteousness of Christ against Satan's attempt to defeat us.
C. Fred Dickason - A Man That Met the Spirit World Head-on - 1974 Satan is against man and brings death, destruction and bondage. We see that God has sent Christ as a man to meet Satan and destroy his works. Christ, the God-man, defeated Satan by sacrificing Himself for our sin. The cross released the prisoners of sin, realized the person of God, and defeated the power of evil.
C. Fred Dickason - Communicating with the Spirit World- 1974 Outlines the motivation and operation of occult practices. Divination, magic and spiritism are all part f the occult and have been around for hundreds of years. Communicating with the spirit world outside of God is forbidden and sinful for the Christian. We need to resist the devils temptations and seek God and God alone!
