Conquering Companion

This chapter tells about the resurrection events.
•Announcement: the need for it (women were perplexed about the empty tomb); the nature of it (Christ is risen!)
•Abiding: in incognito (Christ walked with two to Emmaus unrecognized); the inquiry (as to why they were sad); the instructing (Christ showed them about Himself from the Scriptures); the invitation (for Christ to abide with them); the insight (they recognized Christ as He broke bread).
•Appearance: to the faithful (the disciples); their fear (they were afraid when they saw Him); the food (He ate fish and honeycomb before them).
•Ascension: this involved Bethany (the place) and the blessing (at the parting).
