Psalm 19:1-4 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
The declaration of nature Ps. 19:1-4
1. The message is consistent. Vs 1 All of nature is giving the same message, the message of a God of splendor who created all and is over all. There is no contradiction or confusion. All nature points to an all powerful creator.
2. The message is continuous. Vs 2 Day and night always bringing forth this same message. The word uttereth means gush forth, flow, or pou r out abundantly. Nature just can’t speak enough or tell it enough times about the glory of God. The word showeth means to declare by living. This is not just a message that nature tells it is a message nature lives! (i.e. the blooming of flowers, weather patterns, growing of vegetation, natural land formations).
3. The message is comprehensive. Vs 3 It speaks to everyone everywhere. It transcends sounds and language barriers and speaks directly to the inner man (his soul and spirit). No man can say I don’t understand the message, he is without excuse. Nature tells him God is real, He created everything and He’s in charge.
4. The message is cordial. Vs 4 The word line means a cord or chord. It is a reference t o a string of an instrument that makes a soothing sound. A harmonious or melodious song, that is pleasant, warm, inviting. Nature speaks to man’s nature calling, inviting him to seek after God.
concluding thoughts: There really is something to the saying "stop and smell the roses". It is beneficial to get away from everything and spend some time with nature. Our lives are so busy and we are so easily distracted that we miss the message that God's creation is singing before us. Today take some time, stop, listen and let nature take it's course!!

Have a great day and "may the Lord be magnified"
