Text: Living For Another World
Scripture’s (Jn.17: 11-16)
Introduction, Please make a mental note that when Jesus said "And now I am no more in the World". He feet were planted on planet earth. And in verse (14) He says of the
Disciples, " they are not of the world". These two statements from the lips of the Savior of the saved! Tell me we are to be living for another world! As Saved people we
Are told to,

(1) LAY UP TREASURES,IN ANOTHER WORLD:
(Matt. 6:19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moths and
rust doeth corrupt, and thieves break in to steal. (20) But lay up for yourselves
treasures in heaven. How can I do that?
1. Give to poor, (Mt.19:21) Go sell what you have and give to the poor.
2. Grief, (Pr.10:22) the blessings of the Lord it maketh rich,and he addeth no
sorrow with it.
3.Greater, (Heb.11:26) Esteeming the reproach of Christ,greater riches than
the treasures of Egypt.

(2) PRAY TO SOMEONE IN ANOTHER WORLD:
(Matt.6:9) After this manner pray ye, Our Father which art in Heaven.
Why would any saved person pray to anyone else? Why pray to dead saints, when
I have a living Savior ?
1. Why count beads, When I can come though the blood, (Heb.10:19) having
2. Why all on Mary, When I know the Man? (1Tim.2:5) for there is one
3. Why call some man my father, When I have a Father? (Matt. 23:9) call no

(3) SEEK THINGS FROM ANOTHER WORLD:
(Col. 3:1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things where are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. We are told Who this is to,
What they are to do, Where it is talking about! What could I seek?
1. Salvation, (Isa.55:6) seek ye the Lord while he may be found.
2. Power, (Psa.62:11) God hath spoken once,twice have I heard this power.
3. Favor, (Lk.2:52) Jesus increased in favor with God and man.

(4) LIVE BY A BOOK, FROM ANOTHER WORLD:
(Deut. 8:3) Man doeth not live by bread only, but by every word that pro-
ceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord. I suppose almost every body lives by
someone’s book! Mans book, Mormons, Koran, New World Translation,
Some live by their Checkbooks, Information books.
1. Sent from Heaven, (Psa.68:11) Lord sent his word
2. Settle in Heaven, (Psa.119:89) Forever O Lord ,that word is settled
3. Safetly Kept from Heaven, (Psa.12:6) the words of the Lord are pure
as silver tried in the furnace of earth,Purfied seven times,(7) Thou

(5) LOOK FOR SOMEONE TO COME, FROM ANOTHER WORLD:
(Phil. 3:20) For our conversation is in heaven: from whence also we look
for the Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ. I am glad we have the promise that
he will come and take us to another world.
1. We have a desire, (Heb.11:16) they desire a better country
2. We have a departure, (2 Tim.4:6) time of my departure is at hand.
3. We have a dream to come true, (1Cor.2:9) But as it is written
