SOWING
Galatians 6:1-9
As we search the Scripture we find that one of the duties of a
Christian is that we sow the seed. Yet there are many Christians
that are about to quit, and many have already quit. The attitude
that we find in people today is," What's the use. "
As a Christian we are:
A. COMPARED TO A SOWER:
Psalms 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious
seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his
sheaves with him.
B. CALLED TO BE A SOWER:
Mark 4:14 The sower soweth the word.
C. CHALLENGED TO BE A SOWER:
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due
season we shall reap, if we faint not.
I. THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOW:
As Christians we are responsible to:
A. THE FATHER TO SOW:
We have no greater responsibility than the responsibility we have
to God.
B. THE FALLEN TO SOW
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which
are
spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering
thyself,
lest thou also be tempted.
C. THE FAITHFUL TO SOW:
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the
law of Christ.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good
unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of
faith.
D. THE FAITH TO SOW:
Why do we see so many Baptist being taken by other denominations?
Some one quit sowing.
E. THE FAMILY'S GOD GAVE US TO SOW:
Daddy & Momma your children are watching you.
II. THE REASON'S TO SOW:
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing
A. SAVIOR'S REDEMPTION:
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that
which was lost.
B. SCRIPTURES REVELATION:
Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the
word of God.
The only hope for this world is the Bible.
C. SIN'S RUIN:
Sin will ruin the: Heart, Home, Hopes.
D. SATAN'S REALITY: Our enemy is: WISE, WORTHY, WHIPPED.
1. THE DIVERSITY OF SATAN'S ATTACK:
He will attack in many ways, from every angle.
2. THE DURATION OF SATAN'S ATTACK:

Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself
to God.
III. THE REWARDS OF SOWING:
Galatians 6:9 For in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
